Waiting for baby with the Breen’s part 1 || Vancouver Maternity Photographer

This was such a fun shoot I have to split it into two parts. Seriously! I was so happy to hear that Jamie-Lee and Chris Breen were expecting their second child and even more when they asked me to photograph a maternity session for them. I’m used to seeing them a few times a week during hockey season, when Chris is on the ice for the Abbotsford Heat and Jamie-Lee and their adorable daughter Skarlett cheers him on from their seats. This time we were able to relax for some family photos at the Farm {my lovely friends Mel and Mike have beautiful property and have let me use it for photo shots. I heart them so much}.

I think out of every photo from their session, this first one is my favourite. And it was one of the first frames we took!

Bring out some bubbles and it’s magic smiles all around.
Yes, Skarlett’s eyes really are that colour, I think Chris will be meeting any perspective boyfriends at the door!

The Farm is one of my favourite places to photograph and the Breen’s were so happy to see some horses.
Look at little Skarlett givin’ some love to Annie while Jamie-Lee welcomes Lucy.

Maybe a hairstylist in the making?
Skarlett looks like she loves being on her Dad’s shoulders but also loved grabbing some of the pine needles to add to his hair.

If only I could add sound to these photos! Skarlett’s giggles when high-flyin were awesome!

Finally, Jamie-Lee the gorgeous mom to be.
The thing I love about being a photographer is that everyone is different and every photo shoot is different, I’m here for each and every client to make theirs unique, memorable and to leave with big smiles on your faces. We may not know each other at the start of the session but leave as friends at the end!
I’ll post part two in a few days, totally different, totally the Breen’s great idea and totally fantastic!
